If you are not in need, perhaps you can help those who are!!

These are a few of the charitable organizations dedicated to our heroes and their families. Contact them if you need their help! If you have funds, a skill, time or energy, "knowing how to give something back" won't be such a tough part of life!

The Hug-A-Hero doll is no ordinary doll.  The Hug-A-Hero doll’s design features the head-to-toe photograph of the recipient’s parent or loved one and a personalized message just for them.  The doll not only provides comfort in the times of distress or sadness that separation can cause, but also provides a vehicle for the child to share his/her feeling and tell his/her story about his/her hero’s service.  We are inspired by the many families that have shared their stories about how the Hug-A-Hero doll has made a difference in their lives.  We fondly call the children in our program our “Littlest Heroes.”

Azalea Charities - focus on Aid for Wounded Soldiers
Defenders of Freedom - formed solely to support our troops actively serving our country
Fisher House - provides "a home away from home" that enables family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful time -- during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury
Freedom is Not Free - aiding wounded service members, their families and the families of the fatally wounded
Homes for Our Troops - The homes provided by Homes for Our Troops are given at NO COST to the Veterans we serve
Hope for the Warriors - enhancing the quality of life for US Service Members and their families nationwide who have been adversely affected by injuries or death in the line of duty.
Homes for our Troops - Building specially adapted homes for our severely injured veterans
Operation Hug-A-Hero is proud and humbled to serve the children of our nation’s heroes that serve in our armed services, law enforcement and as first responders.
Operation Special Delivery - provides trained volunteers for pregnant women whose husbands or partners have been severely injured or who have lost their lives due to the current war on terror, or who will be deployed at the time that they are due to give birth.
The Armed Forces Foundation - Providing direct financial support to service members and their families
Salute America's Heroes -Created to provide a way for individuals, corporations and others to help our severely wounded and disabled Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans and their families rebuild
TAPS - Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors
USO - supporting the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform
Wounded Warrior Project -  honoring and empowering our wounded warriors.
